An Important Update Regarding EOYC 2020

Due to the current public health situation regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic, sadly we must inform you that EOYC will be canceled for 2020. After a comprehensive review of the current public health risks, Tall Oaks, our camp facilities partner, has made the decision to close their facilities through July 31st. We appreciate the magnitude of this decision on the part of Tall Oaks from both a financial and emotional standpoint and thank them for their care and professionalism throughout this discussion.

For many, this will be the first summer without EOYC in a long while. We believe that EOYC serves an important role for our campers and their spiritual health as an annual opportunity to separate themselves from the world and recharge. It is a truly beautiful thing to watch and be a part of every year. While we won't have that opportunity in 2020, we now have time to evaluate what is really important and to further our plans for the continued improvement and growth of our efforts.

Please join us in looking forward to EOYC's return in 2021. Before then, however, additional information and updates will be coming soon regarding our annual spring meeting in May, our 55th anniversary party currently planned for October 10th, our fall planning retreat and other related EOYC activities as we shift our focus to the future.

As we approach Pascha this weekend with faith and love, we ask for your continued prayers for our many friends and family who have been impacted by this crisis as well as those who are working on the frontlines, especially our healthcare professionals and medical workers.

EOYC will return and we look forward to the day when we can gather once again in faith and fellowship.
